Join our client in the Higher Education sector as a Finance Assistant! This temporary role, lasting until the end of August, offers a hybrid work arrangement.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Hourly Rate:
£12.46 per hour

As the Finance Assistant, you will support reconciliations and organise the business bank accounts in preparation for the year-end.

Key Duties:
- Provide prompt customs clearance instructions to shipping agents
- Efficiently manage the University's Import mailbox
- Maintain accurate data input and records for auditing purposes
- Reconcile import logs with HMRC deferment statements
- Collaborate with Finance Office teams for refund reallocation
- Handle enquiries regarding customs procedures and documentation requirements

- Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
- Effective communication abilities with internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in administrative or accounting roles with outstanding customer service
- Proficiency in meeting deadlines and self-development
